Cindy Amerongen
Senior Strategist
Ms. Amerongen holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Adult Education, and a Bachelor of General Studies, both from Athabasca University, and a Business Administration Marketing Diploma from NAIT. Ms. Amerongen has deep experience in the post-secondary and health sectors with expertise in community engagement, community development, government and stakeholder relations, fundraising, philanthropy, and communications. Board experience includes Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, 2015 Western Canada Summer Games, Community Futures Wood Buffalo, and Athabasca University Academic Council. She is currently a public member on the Alberta Council of Dietitians Council. Ms. Amerongen is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for contributions to community development.
